Travis is an experienced trial attorney who focuses his practice on representing clients in the areas of employment law and criminal defense.

Prior to the founding of Macias Rodriguez Adams LLP, Travis was an attorney at the nation’s largest labor and employment law firm, where he represented employers of all sizes, from multinational corporations to family-owned small businesses, in all aspects of litigation in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies. During his time there, Travis served as a member of the Workplace Violence Practice Group and counseled clients facing concerns of workplace safety and threats to confidential and proprietary information.

Travis honed his trial and litigation skills as a solo criminal defense practitioner and as a Deputy Public Defender at the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s Office. As a criminal defense attorney, Travis has represented thousands of clients facing criminal charges at all stages of the criminal justice process, from arraignment up through jury trial.

Travis is a lifelong resident of the Silicon Valley area. Travis attended high school at Bellarmine College Preparatory and then graduated from Santa Clara University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies and Political Studies in 2011. Travis continued his education at Santa Clara University and earned his law degree in 2014 with a High Tech Law Certificate in Corporate Specialization. During law school, Travis served as an extern for the California Supreme Court.
